With driving winds and icy temperatures, Winter Storm Niko hit Martha’s Vineyard late Thursday morning, blanketing the Island in about four inches of snow by sundown. While some areas experienced downed branches, power outages, and hazardous driving conditions, other parts of the Island were a peaceful winter wonderland.
